Ira Brodsky is a researcher, writer, and public speaker.


Brodsky has written five books. His most recent solo performance, The History & Future of Medical Technology, tells the story behind today's advanced medical technologies: how they were developed, how they work their magic, and how they are likely to evolve over the next several years. The book gives readers a front row view of the discoveries and inventions that transformed medicine into a science. Ira Brodsky was president of Datacomm Research Company for 19 years. He published dozens of reports on new technologies and markets in telecommunications, life sciences, and power generation. He chaired a number of industry conferences and has been a sought-after speaker.

As a consultant, Ira Brodsky has worked for clients in Asia, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. His work has included identifying new markets, defining new products, developing competitive strategies, and influencing government policymakers.
